The Beauty of a womans body.

There has been a lot of debate on how a womans ideal body should be. Why can't people see the beauty of a woman's body that is full figured. Did you know that having a large lower abdomen was very attractive years ago? Because I study media, i came across so many paintings that opened my eyes to what is happening to the world. The newer the painting, the skinnier the woman is. if you go back 100-200 years ago you will not only see that women were full figured in paintings...but they were also nude. To show how beautiful their bodies are. These days, if you enter a room and you're not skinny, then you're suddenly the ugliest person on earth. Hideous, disgusting and revolting. The pressure to become skinny is growing by the day. Why do we come across so many weight loss pills, dvd's, articles and BS that is making us self conscious. Especially brides to be, the pressure to be skinny on their wedding day is so severe that they starve themselves or even become bulimic. Let me tell you one thing, b4 my wedding, i did not diet, i ate whatever i wanted. I looked like myself...this is me, i am full figured and beautiful. If you have a problem with how i look then you should learn how to accept people by who they are. Not everyone in this world HAS to be skinny! Day by day, i am learning to love my body and not pressure myself by reading magazines that is filled with pictures of models that starve themselves to be *perfect*. Skinny is not perfection.

Perfection does not exist in this world.

Sketches and COMPETITION!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while..as you can see, I'm on holiday.. and sketching is definitely a stress reliever...I went to fashion school for 2 months but unfortunately I did not continue. The teachers were so mean and unfair that I just couldn't take it anymore...surprisingly, all of the teachers were kicked out =P so it wasn't just me who thought that... neways, I got an idea out of these sketches and thought wouldn't it be fun to start a competition?

Heres how it goes: You get to create any of the 3 sketches with the help of a tailor. You would pick the colors and textures and the tailor will stitch it.
